CARROT CAKE

Ingredients

  • 70 g of sugar 

  • 100g of flour

  • 10 g baking powder 

  • 15 g walnut kernels 

  • 15 g raisins 

  • 145 g of grated carrots

  • 15 g butter or margarine 

  • 44 g of water (to hydrate the powder)

  • 11 g of YUMGO Whole Powder

Process

  1. Mix Yumgo Whole Powder with water to rehydrate it.

  2. Mix the rehydrated Yumgo Whole Powder and sugar.

  3. Combine flour, baking powder and spices.

  4. Add the powders to the Yumgo-sugar mixture.

  5. Add grated carrots, raisins and walnut kernels.

  6. Add melted margarine.

  7. Bake 30 min at 160°C (muffin)/ 60 min at 170°C (cake)
