For the good of our planet, animals, and our health, the food of tomorrow will be plant-based, and the food diets evolve today in this direction. The idea for YUMGO was born from a simple observation: while it is necessary to change diets, it is difficult to replace the egg, even more in the case of pastry. Eggs and egg products (non-shell eggs, representing 38% of egg consumption in France) remain a central component of chefs' ingredients.
This observation gave rise to a project which materialized with the creation of the start-up YUMGO in February 2019. The project is led by Rodolphe Landemaine, Boulanger Pâtissier, founder of the network of Boulangeries Pâtisseries Maison Landemaine (around twenty shops in France and Japan), and the first 100% vegetable-based bakery Land & Monkeys, and Anne Vincent, Expert in International Management, Consulting and Marketing.
